The Cinosam gardens are a colorful and welcome site this year thanks to our wonderful volunteers and generous donations.
The lovely garden under the sign is donated and maintained each year by Dick and Elaine Petersen and Kenneth and Marilyn Kunze. It is planted in honor of Elaine’s aunt and uncle, Dana and Gladys Nordstrom, long-time residents of Cinosam 1953-2000.
The round stone garden is donated by the Cinosam Ladies Club each year. It is beautifully planted and maintained by Liz Becher.
Thank you all for making Cinosam park come to life each spring!
Cinosam has published a Welcome to Cinosam packet for new (and existing) residents. It includes historical facts as well as information on dues, boat slips, board members, events and bylaws.
The file is available for download below and also under “About” in the top site menu.
The Cinosam Boat Slip Waiting List has been updated as of May 31, 2018. A few residents moved forward and a few were added. There are currently 35 members on the list. The updated list can be viewed in the site menu under the Boats and Docks tab.
The Board is in the process of revising the Boat Slip Regulations as part of the Cinosam Bylaws and the revisions, when completed, will be reviewed and voted on by club members.
The June Board Meeting will take place Saturday at 9:00 AM in the Park. If it is raining, we will meet in Mark’s garage.
Agenda
Cinosam Beach will now have two new buoys and three balls on our beach this summer to help define our swimming area. Thank you to Liz and Tm Becher who purchased and carried the cement-loaded buoys to the beach.
A lily pad will be coming soon.
A very special thank you to Reed and Gerda Von Maur for the Cinosam Park spring clean-up. The park looks beautiful and there is even an eagle looking down impressively. Can you find him?
A rather small group of Cinosam residents met on Saturday May 5th and conducted the May Board Meeting while enjoying the unseasonably warm morning weather.
The unapproved minutes are filed under Club Business.
Saturday’s meeting time has changed from 9:00AM to 10:00AM. Hope to see you there!
It’s a whole new season! Join us for the first board meeting of 2018 on Saturday, May 5th at 9:00AM in the park. If it is a chilly morning, we will meet across the street at Julie’s cabin. The agenda is as follows:
